Position on Disability Rights

The governor has overwhelmingly supported the full inclusion of equal rights for the disability community- how they should receive employment, community access, and prevocational services have been dialogues he has participated in before. He proposed a bill echoing his opinions in 2014, the bill did not receive a required two-thirds majority to be voted into law, but the point stands that Governor Inslee is a true supporter of the Disability community as a whole and is willing to be an advocate. In 2018, he declared the month of October to focus only on the Employment for the Disability Community in the state of Washington.
