Seattle, Washington - Samuel Andrew Mather a resident of King County, Washington was booked on March 16, 2018, on multiple counts of child molestation. He was processed on the 21st of March with a $500,000 dollar bail but remains in jail.
April 4, 2018 an order for sexual assault protection was issued protecting the minor child from any further contact with Samuel.
The next court date is April 17, 2018 for scheduling of a trial. Prior to his arrest, Samuel was working as a Lyft driver. He comes from a well known family, his father is Bob Mather, retired Attorney for US Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division. His father is well known because he was the first deaf attorney hired by the Department of Justice back in the 1970s. Samuel Mather's mother, Dr. Susan Mather is a retired Gallaudet University professor. His sister, Roberta Mather, works at the State Department.
Samuel Mather was also roommates with Micah Brown who was arrested and later found guilty of luring a teenager into a sexual relationship back in 2011.
